COUNSELLING & THERAPY SERVICES FOR ALL AGES
Unlocking potential through therapy and support
At Raise the Bar Psychology, we provide person-centred, neuro-affirming, and trauma-informed therapy and support to children, adolescents, and adults for a range of issues, including anxiety, stress, and anger. Parents and caregivers are included and consulted during therapy for children.
Many of our clients seek support in understanding their (or their child’s) neurodivergence, and in exploring how the environment can be adjusted to accommodate individual needs and preferences.
All therapy and support is person-centred, neuro-affirming, collaborative, and trauma informed. Our psychologists use individualised and tailored approaches that draw from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based stress reduction, and Ross Green’s Collaborative & Proactive Solutions model.
Everyone deserves to thrive,
no matter their age
We respect and value neurodiversity and believe that the best outcomes are achieved when the environment understands and caters for individual strengths and differences. We work collaboratively with individuals, families, and educational settings to recommend targeted strategies and practical adjustments and supports.
Our highly-trained and compassionate psychologists work with individuals of all ages and their families, carers, and teachers to ensure they are supported and to help them build an environment where they can flourish.
We support clients with the following difficulties:
- Anxiety and stress
- Depression and mood disorders
- Challenging behaviours
- Self-esteem and confidence
- Friendship and relationships
