Julia is a registered psychologist who completed her Master of Child and Educational Psychology at Monash University. She has over 15 years’ experience providing assessments and interventions in primary, secondary and special school settings. Julia is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, parents/carers and teachers to understand students’ individual strengths, challenges and differences. She uses a strength-based approach and seeks to work collaboratively to help students access accommodations and interventions to support their learning and wellbeing.
Julia has a special interest in specific learning disorders, neurodiversity and trauma. She enjoys consulting with parents/carers and schools to promote an inclusive learning environment for all students.
In addition to her work at Raise the Bar Psychology, Julia continues to work as a school psychologist in various school settings. When not at work, Julia enjoys spending time with her family, being a foster carer, walking her dog and catching up with friends.
