Charlie is a Provisional Psychologist and PhD Candidate in his sixth and final year of the Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology program at Monash University. Charlie has over 9 years’ professional experience in the youth mental health sector working with young people experiencing mental ill-health and neurodevelopmental challenges. Charlie has worked across schools, community mental health and private practice where he has conducted neurodevelopmental and educational assessments, and provided counselling to young people and their families. He is passionate about collaborating with young people, their families and their school communities to overcome adversity and improve mental health, wellbeing and learning. He adopts a collaborative, client-led, LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent-affirming approach in his practice. Charlie draws on a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

In his spare time Charlie enjoys running, hiking, cross-country skiing, road trips to the beach with his partner and hanging out with his six nieces and nephews.
