What to Expect?

Children will participate in a variety of LEGO-based activities, from building complex structures to collaborative storytelling.

A child’s self-determination and advocacy for their own goals, preferences, and interests are central to this experience, whilst supporting a child to authentically engage with others.

Strategies for self-advocacy, self-determination, exploring one’s communication style, and strategies and modelling of regulation are at the forefront of this experience. Experience a welcoming and neuro-inclusive atmosphere that celebrates neurodiversity.

Children will be encouraged to explore their strengths whilst providing space for a child to share information about their special interests, in their own way.

Opportunities will be provided to practise helpful social communication skills such as advocacy, collaboration, problem-solving, resilience, teamwork, and regulation in a fun and supportive setting.

Benefit from the guidance of experienced and qualified facilitators who are passionate in supporting children (with any neurotype) to explore their unique set of strengths, authentic communication style, regulation, and potential accommodations or areas for support to ensure a child can thrive in their home and/or educational environment.
