Hannah is a Provisional Psychologist currently completing a Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) at the University of Melbourne. She has also recently completed a PhD in Psychology at the University of Western Australia, where her research examined the processes that help explain why some people show greater emotional resilience than others.
Hannah is passionate about ensuring that all children and young people have the opportunity to thrive. She is particularly interested in helping families better understand a young person’s strengths, differences, and support needs. Hannah has experience in cognitive, educational, and neurodevelopmental assessments, including the identification of intellectual developmental disorder, specific learning disorders (e.g., dyslexia), giftedness, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Hannah takes a warm, collaborative, and strengths-based approach. She enjoys taking the time to understand each young person’s learning, developmental, emotional, and family context, and values developing thoughtful formulations that help make sense of both strengths and areas where support may be needed.
Outside of work, Hannah can usually be found spending time with her chihuahua, Honey, stuck in a jigsaw puzzle, or reading.
