Jay Jayawardene is an Educational and Developmental Psychology Registrar who completed a Masters of Educational and Developmental Psychology at Monash University. Jay has previously worked in Early Childhood Intervention (ECEI) and in private practice.

Jay has experience in providing assessment, intervention and counselling to individuals across the lifespan. She works with neurodivergent individuals, as well as clients experiencing anxiety, depression and social and emotional challenges. Jay believes in providing clients with a warm and supportive environment as well working with them to develop and increase their understanding about what they are experiencing. She uses a person-centered approach and draws on different modalities to support clients. ​

Clinic Schedule

Jay’s clinic days are Wednesday and Thursday


Currently accepting child, adolescent and adult assessment clients


Currently accepting counselling clients aged under 10 years (and parents) and clients aged 18 years+ for anxiety, depression/mood, and neurodevelopmental differences including autism and ADHD
