Katharine Xu is an Educational and Developmental Psychology Registrar who is passionate about supporting people with their learning, as well as their social and emotional wellbeing. Her areas of interest include educational assessments, emotional regulation, sleep, attention difficulties, neurodivergence, and learning difficulties.

Katharine has experience conducting psychological assessments to help children and their families understand their capabilities and challenges. She also has experience using therapeutic interventions to support children and young people with various concerns such as emotional regulation, self-esteem, anxiety, and sleep. Katharine values taking strengths-based, client-centered, and family-centered approaches to her work.

Katharine’s clinic days are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Currently accepting counselling clients aged 5 to 12 years for support with emotional regulation, anxiety, depression/mood, sleep and self-esteem
